Guide / EN

How it works

Batch mode accepts up to ten validated images and waits for the explicit Process images action before handling exactly one at a time. Sequential work keeps memory bounded and lets the first result remain downloadable while later files continue. A failure affects only its own row and can be retried without reloading completed outputs.

When at least two validated results exist, the ZIP Worker packages copies of those outputs with storage mode because image formats are already compressed. Individual downloads remain available.

01

Formats and settings

  • Balanced settings preserve each input format by default.
  • The queue shows real stages rather than an invented codec percentage.
  • ZIP creation is capped at 200 MB of output and never contains thumbnails, manifests or hidden files.
02

A concrete example

A folder containing six product photos and two transparent graphics can be dropped together. JPEGs stay JPEG, PNG transparency stays intact, and each completed file can be reviewed before one local results ZIP is created.

03

Know before you start

  • The ten-file limit protects ordinary browser memory; split larger jobs.
  • Processing is intentionally not parallel, so heavy AVIF work takes longer.
  • Closing or refreshing the tab discards every source and result that has not been downloaded.

FAQ / 03

Frequently asked questions

Why not process all ten at once?

Parallel decoding and encoding can multiply memory pressure. Sequential processing is more predictable across phones and laptops.

What enters the ZIP?

Only completed, validated output images with collision-safe names. No source, preview or metadata report is added.

Can I retry one failure?

Yes. The failed row retains its source File in current memory and can restart independently.
